Description

The UV lamp kit is designed to produce a strong ultraviolet light that reflects off the stainless-steel housing, illuminating the water as it passes through. UV radiation eliminates algae, bacteria, and parasites, keeping water clean and safe. It is a natural, eco-friendly, chemical-free method that leaves no odor or residue.

It is recommended to install the unit horizontally as the final stage of any water treatment system. If installed vertically, position the water inlet at the bottom and the outlet at the top.

Operation

• Average lamp life: 9000 hours. Designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To ensure 100% effectiveness, annual replacement is recommended.
• The light indicator turns off in case of lamp failure. Check if the lamp is burned out or if there is an electrical power issue.
• Always turn off the power supply before any maintenance. Do not touch the quartz sleeve to maintain lamp effectiveness.
• Protect your eyes: never look directly at the UV light beam.
• It is always recommended to use a sediment filter before the UV unit. All GrowMax Water filter and RO units are compatible with these UV lamps.

• Dirty or turbid water reduces the ability of UV rays to contact contaminants. The cleaner the water, the more effective the UV sterilization will be.
