Secret Icer – Resin Extraction Bags

Secret Icer bags are the perfect accessory for the Secret Smoke extraction washing machine. Available in sets of 2, 3, or 5 bags, they allow for a simple and efficient extraction process thanks to the different micron mesh sizes.

These bags can be used both with the washing machine and manually, following the ice water extraction technique (Ice Water Hash).

How to use without a washing machine

It is possible to perform the extraction manually without using the machine. To do so:

• Place the fine mesh bag in a bucket.
• Insert the coarse mesh bag inside the medium one, and then both inside the fine mesh bag.
• Fill the bucket with about 15 cm of very cold water, avoiding air bubbles.
• Add a layer of ice, then the plant material, and then another layer of ice.
• Let it sit for 15 minutes, then stir gently with a whisk or hand blender for another 15 minutes.
• Repeat the stirring process 4 times, allowing the material to settle to the bottom each time.
• Remove the mesh bags in reverse order, drain them, and collect the resin glands inside the finest mesh.
• Sieve the resin onto a plate using a spoon and a strainer, then transfer it to a dry container.
• After 12 hours, sieve again, let it rest for another 12 hours, sieve once more, and knead.
