Description
RESHIELD – Complete Microbiological Protection
Comprehensive microbiological protection against soft-bodied and hard-bodied insects and soil-dwelling pests. Combined formula with mycorrhizae, entomopathogenic fungi, and rhizosphere bacteria for protection and root stimulation.
Description
RESHIELD is a selected microbiological consortium in dormant form (viable spores) acting synergistically on plant and soil. It integrates mycorrhizae, Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, and rhizosphere bacteria to deliver extended protection and improved biological fertility of the substrate.
Microbiological Composition
- Endo-mycorrhizae: 1%
- Beauveria bassiana (2 strains): 2×10? CFU/g
- Metarhizium anisopliae (2 strains): 1×10? CFU/g
- Rhizosphere bacteria (6 strains): 3×10? CFU/g
Mode of Action
- Natural antagonism: Beauveria and Metarhizium infect soft- and hard-bodied insects; they penetrate the cuticle with lytic enzymes and cause cell lysis, acting on both foliage and soil against larvae and soil insects.
- Rhizosphere colonization: beneficial bacteria outcompete pathogens, enhance microbial fertility, and stimulate root growth, forming an active biological barrier.
- Mycorrhizal symbiosis-like effect: mycorrhizae increase root surface area, improve water and mineral uptake, and boost plant tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress.
Target / Controls
- Soft-bodied insects and larvae (thrips, whiteflies, leafhoppers)
- Hard-bodied insects and soil larvae (beetles, vine weevil, wireworms)
- Insect eggs
- Soil pathogens (Sclerotinia, Fusarium, Pythium)
- Root rots and secondary fungi
When to Use
- During vegetative and pre-flowering stages as combined prevention
- Every 20–25 days under normal conditions
- Every 10–15 days in case of insect presence or high-risk substrates
- Ideal for indoor, greenhouse, or organic substrates
Main Features
- Entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria and Metarhizium against soft- and hard-bodied insects
- Effective control of soil larvae and insects as well as foliar pests
- Active also on insect eggs
- Six selected rhizosphere bacterial strains for competition and root stimulation
- Protection from soil pathogens and root rots
- Root surface amplification thanks to mycorrhizae
- Improved water–mineral uptake and vigorous growth
- Preventive and curative action with zero residue, safe for pollinators
